IT’S SUPERBOWL SUNDAY TOMORROW……

……….and I have been practicing my running and passing in Central Park. 

My Mummy says I am sometimes a “ball thief” because I keep running after other doggies balls and running away with them.

I hang onto those balls with dear life and its hard to catch me!

I always try to get a touchdown at the end of the field!!!!

I know I’m good at this….

I want to win the trophy and be the MVP ( thats most valuable player if you didn’t know that!!!!)

So watch out for me….and cheer me on……I want to go to Disneyland!

Hi, it's Mumbai..
wow..what a week I have had!
Mummy and I were invited to go on the Today show last Friday..we were dressed up as clowns. I was pretty good and not too nervous..and actually I hope I get to go on TV again. See the photo up above?

And on Halloween day, we both dressed up as pirates......


But, may favourite costume is what I was named for....my name comes from India...and now, here is..............

IT'S OSCAR NIGHT..............

Hello......it's Mumbai..

I've been busy and that's why I haven't had a chance to write to you.......
This has been a big day for me...........

It's the Oscars.........and well, it's been a little secret but I'm now an actor in the film business!!!!! They haven't released the film as yet....but they knew i would get an Oscar for being the best Animal Actor, so they presented it to me today........

Yes!!!! Little Mumbai....little me! I'm going to be famous!!!

Anyhow, you know how they give out awards before the evening big big awards........well guess what! I got one! I got an Oscar.....I was a little speechless when they gave it to me! I was so flabbergasted, I lost my bark! what an honour!










Mummy helped me pick out a designer tuxedo.......don't I look handsome??????

Wow wow wow!!!! I'm the happiest and luckiest puppy in New York today!!!
I auditioned for some of the films that are nominated for Best Picture.........but I didn't think the roles suited me.....well maybe Avatar...but they wanted to die my fur blue, and even through that's Mummy's favourite colour....well I thought I would look weird!

Recognise me in these posters???? I modelled for the photos....but then they decided to use George Clooney and Jeremy Renner and Sam Worthington ( did you know he's an australian like my Mummy?)


























































Well that's it for now......I'm going out to drink doggy champagne and eat lots of my favourite chicken filet treats! Look out for a film and book to happen........one day!

SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!

Good morning!

Well excitement.....it's Super Bowl Sunday...and a big game between the Saints and the Colts

My tail is wagging...and Mummy is taking me for a training run in Central Park.....I'm going to practice my fast dodging runs and chasing the ball and getting it to the goal post..........and hey, look, my outfit actually looks the same as the Colts????

I was in the running to be a Quarterback....couldn't decide between the Jets or the Giants ( I'm a New York puppy)...almost made it, but the coach was a bit worried about me being run over when heading for the goal post!..but well, neither team made it to the final game so guess it's okay. I'll try again next year .....

Enjoy the day! don't eat too much....Mummy told me she has some special treats for me, but I'd rather have my dried chicken fillets!

I MAKE NEW FRIENDS EVERY DAY IN CENTRAL PARK

Hi....Mummy walks me every day in Central Park, and I love it! I meet so many other dogs and am making new friends. I wanted to do a column here on my blog just about my new buddies but don't know how to do it......

Yesterday I met up with LOLA. She's a BERGAMASCO, otherwise known as an Italian sheep dog...and a big shaggy girl! I love playing with big dogs...

. Lola's mummy is an Australian woman just like my mummy! What a coincidence.... Her name is Trudy and she is a chef ........I'm waiting to see what she's going to cook for me??? But I think Lola only eats organic dog food! She's not being too spoilt.

Trudy tells me that Lola just loves to lie on her back with her paws up in the air! Not a very ladylike position?

I SAW A DEER OUT THE WINDOW!

Hi...good morning. Well, there I was sitting on a chair next to Mummy while she was doing computer stuff..........and guess what! there was a little deer staring at us right next to the window.

Mummy tried to grab her camera quickly and get a shot of me looking out the window at the deer....but she wasn't fast enough!

The deer saw me and ran away!!!!

MUMBAI WANTS TO JOIN THE NFL!

Hi....it's Mumbai...
Well, as you are learning , I am enjoying playing all kinds of different sports.....

Now Mummy told me it is the beginning of the football season. Wow! My kind of game....running and dodging other players....well that's what I do when I'm playing with Mummy sometimes....I let her get close to me and then take off real fast as soon as she's about to grab me!

so I said, "Mummy, I need an outfit to go out on the field with so I look like the other players".....and being a good mummy, she took me shopping......

And, here I am!!! Now I'm ready to outrun them all and get a touchdown!! Here I come.....................

LABOUR DAY WEEKEND

Hello....well Labour Day has come and gone....and now they tell me it means the end of summer?
Does that mean Mummy won't take me to the beach anymore?
that is my favourite thing to do..........



I didn't do a lot but did go shopping in Southampton with Mummy.....I was feeling a bit bored and restless........and in one of the stores , well, I was really a bad boy.....I ran out of the store and took one of their scarves with me! It was a joke! But I don't think Mummy was too happy .............

And then we went to Saks, and the girls in the cosmetic department were playing with me and wanted to give me a makeover......but didn't think blue eyeshadow was quite right for a puppy!




















Mummy had a lunch with a whole group of her friends.....and there was a chair for me at the table..........mmmmmm I loved the salmon! Anyhow, got lots of attention and had fun playing with Liz and Pat's dogs.......here I am with some of Mummy's friends.........















Jasmine was so exhausted after all the running around she found a comfy cushion outside and had a nap......














Anyhow......back to the city....and I am going to interview dogs in Central Park to write about.........

Hello.....

HI............how are you all?
I am happy to get letters and stories from all my new buddies out there by the way......


Mummy had a dinner party and film screening the other night.....she always has a chair for me to sit on. She knows that I love to be a part of the group. And sitting on a chair seems so normal to me now.
















I was a bad boy the other day! I was running outside and digging in the garden and got so dirty! I know Mummy wasn't too happy with me. But, oh, how wonderful.........she put me in a bubble bath and let me play and then washed me. I know she likes me to be clean so I can go up on the bed......I must admit I get a lot more attention when I look good!

















And I want to introduce you to my dog walker Zad........when we are in Manhattan, he takes me out sometimes for a walk when Mummy is busy. Here you can see Zad and 2 of my friends Oscar (he's the big guy), and Fusil who belongs to s friend of Mummy's who lives in our building................
